Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 52(1)(a),

That, for the purpose of any Act resulting from the Immigration and Asylum Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any expenditure incurred by the Secretary of State or the Lord Chancellor in consequence of the Act; and
    2. (b) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums so payable by virtue of any other Act; and
  2. (2) the payment of sums into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Kevin Hughes.]
