I have a petition from the residents in the vicinity of Shooters Hill fire station, who request that the House of Commons urge the Home Secretary to refuse to grant permission to the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority to close Shooters Hill Fire Station. This afternoon, I shall be presenting a similar petition of 13,000 signatures to No. 10 Downing street.
