§ Mr. MurphyThe amendments are technical and relate to the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission. We included in paragraph 2 of schedule 6 provisions that were borrowed from the Scotland Bill, which empowers UK Ministers to make certain transfers of property to the Scottish equivalent of the commission. However, in our case property is specifically dealt with in clause 74. In particular, the buildings that will be used initially by the Assembly already belong to the devolved system.
