Queen's recommendation having been signified— Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 50A(l)(a), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Police Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any expenses of the Secretary of State attributable to the provisions of the Act,
    2. (b) any compensation payable, by virtue of the provisions of the Act, by the Commissioners of Customs and Excise, and
    3. (c) any increase attributable to the provisions of the Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other enactment; and
  2. (2) the payment of any sums into the Consolidated Fund.— [Mrs. Lait.]
