§ Mr. David Alton (Liverpool, Mossley Hill)On a point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. Given that the Bill has gone through all its stages in another place, given that there is widespread support in the House from all parties and in the country too, and given that it would introduce provisions that would prevent the abuse of children overseas and allow the prosecution of offenders when they return to this country, may we ask through you that Madam Speaker requests from Home Office Ministers a statement on when the Government will introduce proposals to ensure that the provisions in the Bill are legislated on?
