Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 50A(1)(a), That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Nursery Education and Grant-Maintained Schools Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any sums required by the Secretary of State for making grants in respect of nursery education or for making payments to any person exercising any function by virtue of the Act,
    2. (b) any administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State under the Act, and
    3. (c) any increase attributable to the Act in sums payable out of money provided by Parliament under any other Act, and
  2. (2) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of sums received by the Secretary of State by virtue of the Act and of fees received by Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools in England or Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales under the Act.—[Mr. Streeter]
