§ Mrs. Helen Jackson accordingly presented a Bill to provide for the conservation of water by the establishment of mandatory water leakage targets for water undertakers and by encouraging the installation of water efficient fittings in homes; to provide for the review of abstraction licences which affect sites of nature conservation value; to give domestic consumers greater choice as to methods of charging for the supply of water; and to provide for the payment of compensation in relation to drought orders: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 3 November, and to be printed.
