. Any notice—

  1. (a) which has been given by a public gas supplier under sub-paragraph (1) or (2) of paragraph 8 (use of antifluctuators and valves) of Schedule 5 to the 1986 Act; and
  2. (b) which is in force immediately before the appointed day, shall have effect on and after that day as if it had been given on that day under sub-paragraph (1) or, as the case may be, sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 13 of Schedule 2B to that Act by the supplier's transport successor.'.
