Amendments made: No. 120, in page 4, line 14, at end insert— '( ) The following are examples of steps which an employer may have to take in relation to a disabled person in order to comply with section (1)—

  1. (a) making adjustments to premises;
  2. (b) allocating some of the disabled person's duties to another person;
  3. (c) transferring him to fill an existing vacancy;
  4. (d) altering his working hours;
  5. (e) assigning him to a different place of work;
  6. (f) allowing him to be absent during working hours for rehabilitation, assessment or treatment;
  7. (g) giving him, or arranging for him to be given, training;
  8. (h) acquiring or modifying equipment;
  9. (i) modifying instructions or reference manuals;
  10. (j) modifying procedures for testing or assessment;
  11. (k) providing a reader or interpreter;
  12. (l) providing supervision.'.
