§ Dr. GodmanDoes the Minister agree that far too many theatres, cinemas, galleries, sports halls and swimming pools are utterly inaccessible to disabled people? Should not the question of accessibility loom large whenever grant applications are assessed by those in charge of such funds?
§ Mr. SproatYes, certainly; the hon. Gentleman makes a good point. The Sports Council has been specifically instructed by my right hon. Friend to take disability issues, including access, very much into consideration when grants are being made.
