Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Motion made, and Question put forthwith, pursuant to Order [19 December],

That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise—

(1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any amount payable—
    1. (i) as compensation under Part II of the Act; or
    2. (ii) under paragraph 6 of Schedule 2 to the Act in respect of remuneration or expenses of administrators;
  2. (b) any administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State or the Lord Advocate under the Act; and
  3. (c) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other Act; and

(2) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums falling to be paid into the Consolidated Fund under section 203 or 412 of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975.—[Mr. Wells.]
