Pike, Ms Jean Corston and Mr. Nick Ainger, presented a Bill to provide for the conservation of water resources by the establishment of mandatory water leakage targets for water undertakers; by requiring water undertakers to encourage the installation of water efficient fittings in homes; and by providing for the review of abstraction licences which affect sites of nature conservation value; and to give domestic consumers greater choice as to methods of charging for the supply of water: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 19 January and to be printed.
