Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Criminal Justice and Public Order Bill, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any sums required by the Secretary of State—

  1. (a) for making payments in connection with measures intended to prevent crime or reduce the fear of crime;
  2. (b) for defraying or contributing to the costs incurred by local authorities in providing, or arranging for the provision of, accommodation for restricting the liberty of children; and
  3. (c) for making payments in respect of the costs incurred by local authorities or probation committees in providing supervision for offenders subject to secure training orders.—[Mr. Wood.]
