Motion made, and Question put, That—

  1. (1) Schedule 1 to the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 shall be amended as follows.
  2. (2) In paragraph 1(b) for "£130" there shall be substituted "£135".
  3. (3) In paragraph 3(1)(a) for "£130" there shall be substituted "£135".
  4. (4) In paragraph 10—
    1. (a) in sub-paragraph (2) for "£130" there shall be substituted "£135";
    2. (b) in sub-paragraph (3) for "£360" there shall be substituted "£370".
  5. (5) This Resolution shall apply in relation to licences taken out on or after 30th November 1994.
And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act 1968.
