Ordered, That, at the sitting on Tuesday 26th October, notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Orders No. 14 (Exempted business) and No. 15 (Prayers against statutory instruments, &c. (negative procedure), the Speaker shall put the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on:

  1. (a) the Motion in the name of Mr. John Smith relating to Health and Safety at Mines not later than Seven o'clock;
  2. (b) the Motion in the name of Secretary Sir Patrick Mayhew relating to Northern Ireland (Education and Libraries) not later than one and a half hours after their commencement; and
  3. (c) the Motion in the name of Mr. John Smith relating to Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) not later than one and a half hours after their commencement;
