§ That this House takes note of European Community Documents Nos. 9880/91 and 10306/92 and the Supplementary Explanatory Memoranda submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on 15th February and 10th May 1993, relating to the protection of animals at the time of slaughter or killing; and supports the Government's intention to seek Community action to ensure high standards of welfare at slaughter which will be implemented and enforced throughout the Community.
