§ Order for Second Reading read.
§ Mr. Chris Mullin (Sunderland, South)
Further to my hon. Friend's point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker. If the Government Whip, the hon. Member for Harrow, West (Mr. Hughes), for example, had any interest in the Secret Societies (Déclaration) Bill—I do not suggest that he does—would he not be obliged to declare that interest to the House? Can you rule on that point?
§ Mr. Spellar
I thought that you were taking the point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, and not asking for the day for the National Health Service (Freedom of Speech) Bill. It is Friday next.
§ Mr. Deputy Speaker
Does the hon. Member for Warley, West (Mr. Spellar) have the authority of the hon. Member in charge?
§ Second Reading deferred till Friday 5 February.
