Ordered,

That, at the sitting on Tuesday 2nd February, notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted Business), the Speaker shall—

  1. (1) put the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on Motions in the name of Sir John Cope relating to Customs and Excise not later than one and a half hours after the first such Motion has been entered upon; and
  2. (2) put the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on the Motions in the name of Sir John Cope relating to Value Added Tax not later than one and a half hours after the first such Motion has been entered upon;
