That this House takes note of European Community Document No. 8642/92, relating to risk prevention officers in the transport industry; notes that the proposed draft Directive conflicts with existing national and international legislation in the field of health and safety at work; and endorses the Government's intention to seek substantial amendments to the wording of the draft Directive with the aim of maintaining existing health and safety levels.—[Mr. Robert G.
