3.—(1) This paragraph applies in relation to any proceedings on either Bill which are to be brought to a conclusion in accordance with paragraph 1 or 2. (2) For the purpose of bringing to a conclusion any proceedings which have not previously been brought to a conclusion, the Speaker or Chairman shall forthwith put the following Questions (but no others)—

  1. (a) any Question already proposed from the Chair;
  2. (b) any Question necessary to bring to a decision a Question so proposed;
  3. (c) the Question on any amendment moved or Motion made by a Minister of the Crown;
  4. (d) any other Question necessary for the disposal of the business to be concluded.

(3) Proceedings under sub-paragraph (2) shall not be interrupted under any Standing Order relating to the sittings of the House. (4) If on 15th or 16th December a Motion for the Adjournment of the House under Standing Order No. 20 (Adjournment on specific and important matter that should have urgent consideration) stands over to Seven o'clock and proceedings to which this Order applies have begun before that time—

  1. (a) that Motion shall stand over until the conclusion of any proceedings which, under this Order, are to be brought to a conclusion at or before that time; and
  2. (b) the bringing to a conclusion of any proceedings which, under this Order, are to be brought to a conclusion after that time shall be postponed for a period equal to the duration of the proceedings on that Motion.
