§ Mr. OlnerDoes not the Minister remember my bringing a deputation of civilian workers from Bramcote to see him three or four months ago? It is crucial to the local economy that Bramcote is retained in service use. I hope that the Minister will examine the matter seriously, especially when troops must be redeployed from Germany.
§ Mr. HamiltonI do not want the hon. Gentleman to become over-enthusiastic, but I can tell him that we are looking very seriously at alternative Army use for the site. I hope that we shall be able to make an announcement within the next few weeks.
