Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Local Government Finance Bill ("the Act"), it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) the remuneration of, and any expenses incurred by, listing officers in carrying out their functions under the Act (including the remuneration and expenses of persons, whether or not in the service of the Crown, to assist them);
  2. (b) any sums required to enable valuations to be carried out in accordance with the Act;
  3. (c) any expenses of the Secretary of State incurred in consequence of the Act; and
  4. (d) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other enactment.—[Mr. Wood.]
