Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Social Security (Contributions) Bill, it is expedient to authorise any increase attributable to the provisions of the Act in the sums which—

  1. (a) under the Social Security Act 1975 are to be taken as paid towards the cost of the National Health Service in Great Britain; or
  2. (b) under that Act are to be paid out of the National Insurance Fund into the Consolidated Fund in respect of administrative expenses.—[Mr. Neil Hamilton.]
