Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Planning and Compensation Bill [Lords] ("the Act"), it is expedient to authorize— (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of— (a) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums so payable under any other enactment, and (b) any sums required by a Minister of the Crown for making payments by virtue of the Act of interest on compensation payable under any enactment or of amounts on account of such compensation or interest, and (2) extinguishing any right to recover any amount under section 148 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1972, or section 133 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, including interest on any such amount.—[Mr. Kirkhope]
