§ Miss Kate Hoey (Vauxhall)As the Member of Parliament for Vauxhall, 1 have the pleasure of having the Refugee Council in my constituency, and I want to present to the House a petition signed by just over 1,000 people to highlight the position of asylum seekers and refugees in this country. I hope that the Government will consider the petition seriously.
Wherefore your petitioners pray that your Honourable House requests the Government to improve as a matter of urgency the arrangements and facilities for asylum seekers and refugees.
