Mr. Keith Vaz, supported by Mr. Max Madden, presented a Bill to amend Schedule 1 to the British Nationality Act 1981 so as to remove, for applicants aged over 60, the requirement that an applicant should have knowledge of the English, Welsh or Scottish Gaelic language: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time on Friday 5 July and to be printed.
