I beg to move amendment No. 54, in page 28, line 31, after 'that', insert '(a)'.

With this it will be convenient to discuss Government amendment No. 55.

The amendment would allow arrears of maintenance to be recovered by deduction from benefit within the existing restrictions on deductions from benefit.
