Ordered, That, at the sitting on Wednesday 27th February: (1) notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business), if proceeding on the Motions in the name of Mr. Secretary Newton relating to Pensions, Social Security, and Terms and Conditions of Employment have not previously been disposed of, Mr. Speaker shall at Seven o'clock put successively the Questions thereon; and (2)if proceedings on the above Motions have not been completed before Seven o'clock, the Private Business set down by direction of the Chairman of Ways and Means for consideration at that hour shall stand over until the conclusion of such proceedings, and the said Private Business may be proceeded with though opposed, for three hours after it has been entered upon.—[Mr. David Davis.]
