Ordered, That, at the sitting on Wednesday 11th December, notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business) and Standing Order No. 15 (Prayers against statutory instruments, &c (negative procedure)), Mr. Speaker shall

  1. (1) not more than three hours after the commencement of proceedings on the Motions in the name of Mr. Secretary Newton and Mr. Neil Kinnock relating to Social Security, Pensions and Terms and Conditions of Employment put the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on the Motions in the name of Mr. Secretary Newton; and
  2. (2) put the Question or Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on the Motion in the name of the Prime Minister relating to Fisheries not more than three hours after their commencement;
and the above proceedings may continue after the expiry of the time for opposed business.—[Mr. David Davis.]
