§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThis series of amendments would add to the advertisement requirements for drought order applications the requirement for an advertisement in the area from which alternative supplies of water are proposed to be taken to meet deficiencies elsewhere. This is appropriate so that those who have an interest in the alternative sources may have an opportunity to raise any objections to the applications.
