Ordered, That, at the sitting on Wednesday 24th October, if proceedings on the Motions in the name of Sir Geoffrey Howe relating to Procedure, Questions to Members Etc., European Standing Committees, Select Committee on European Legislation and European Community Legislation have not been previously disposed of, Mr. Speaker shall at Seven O'clock put the Question already proposed from the Chair, and, if that Question is for the amendment of the Motion then under consideration, then put forthwith the Questions on any other Amendments thereto which he may have selected and which may then be moved and then the Main Question or the Main Question, as amended, and shall then put forthwith with successively the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on any further such Motions as may then be made, including the Questions on any Amendments thereto which he may have selected and which may then be moved.—[Sir George Young.]
