Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved,

That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Criminal Justice Bill, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (1) any sums required by the Secretary of State for making payments under contracts entered into under the Act, or payments to or in respect of inspectors of probation appointed under the Act;
  2. (2) any sums so required for defraying the expenses of the Parole Board, or any expenses incurred by members of lay panels appointed under the Act;
  3. (3) any administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State under the Act; and
  4. (4) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other Act.—[Mr. Sackville.]
