Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) the expenses of the Lord Advocate in carrying out his functions under the Act;
    2. (b) sums required by the Secretary of State for the payment of—
      1. (i) grant to the Scottish Conveyancing and Executry Services board;
      2. (ii) amounts payable by him under the Act in respect of the Scottish legal services ombudsman and of any staff appointed for the ombudsman;
      3. (iii) the remuneration of temporary judges appointed under the Act; and
    3. (c) any increase.attributable to the provisions of the Act in the sums payable under any other Act out of money provided by Parliament; and
  2. (2) payments into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Nicholas Baker.]
