§ The Attorney-GeneralI beg to move amendment No. 52, in page 99, line 43, after 'by' insert
',or inconvenience or distress has been caused to,'.The amendment extends the grounds on which the conveyancing ombudsman will be able to make compensation orders to include inconvenience and distress as well as loss. In Committee, I expressed the hope that we would be able to meet the representations that were made and the amendment is the result.
