Ordered, That, at the sitting on Thursday 4th May, notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business), Motions in the name of the Prime Minister relating to Controls of Persons at Intra-Community Frontiers and Public Procurement may be proceeded with, though opposed, for one and a half hours after each of them has been entered upon; and if proceedings thereon have not been disposed of at the expiration of that period, Mr. Speaker shall then put any Questions necessary to dispose of them.——[Mr. Alan Howarth].
