Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Dock Work Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the extinguishment of liabilities of the National Dock Labour Board to the Secretary of State in respect of loans made under section 3(3) of the Dock Work Regulation Act 1976 or section 4 of the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act 1946;
  2. (b) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of the provisions of the Act.—[Mr. Lightbawn.]
