Ordered, That, at this day's sitting—

  1. (1) notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (1) (b) of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business), if proceedings on the draft Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1978 and 1987 (Continuance) Order 1988 have not been previously disposed of, Mr. Speaker shall at Ten o'clock put the Question thereon; and
  2. (2) Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business) shall apply to the Motion in the name of Mr. Secretary King relating to the draft Appropriation (Northern Ireland) Order 1988 with the substitution of One o'clock, or three hours after it has been entered upon, whichever is the later, for the provisions in paragraph (1) (b) of the Standing Order. —[Mr. Alan Howarth.]
