§
Motion made, and Question put forthwith pursuant to Standing Order No. 102(5) (Standing Committees on European Community documents.)
That this House takes note of European Community Documents Nos. 11198/85 on the conditions under which non-resident carriers may operate national road haulage services within a member State, and 10522/1/86 on access to the market for the carriage of goods by road between member States and the Department of Transport's supplementary explanatory memoranda of 16th January and 27th February 1987; and supports the Government's intention to seek early liberalisation of road haulage services in conditions which minimise the burden on the road haulage industry and promote fair competition.—[Mr. Malone.]
§ Question agreed to.
