§ Mr. Andrew Faulds (Warley, East)
I am grateful to you, Mr. Speaker. I rise to apologise to you, Sir, and to the House, for my discourtesy and disregard for parliamentary conduct yesterday. Having looked at column 24 of yesterday's Hansard, I realise that my words could have been interpreted as a personal accusation against a right hon. Member of this House, and I withdraw unreservedly the phrase in question. May I also express my regret that I did not on two occasions at once resume my seat when you rose, Sir.
