Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorize— (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament—

  1. (a) of any amount payable by the Lord Advocate in respect of—
    1. (i)the remuneration or expenses of administration appointed under any such Act;
    2. (ii)any compensation payable under any such Act in respect of the serious default of a procurator fiscal or other person acting on behalf of the Lord Advocate in connection with the investigation of certain offences;
  2. (b) any administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State or the Lord Advocate in consequence of any such Act; and

  4. (c) any increase attributable to any such Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other Act; and
(2) any increase attributable to any such Act in the sums falling to be paid into the Consolidated Fund under section 203 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1975. — [Mr. Lang.]
