Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Banking Bill, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the imposition of charges to income tax and corporation tax by provisions of that Act relating to the treatment for the purposes of the Tax Acts of any payments made to institutions by the Deposit Protection Board;
  2. (2) payments into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Peter Lloyd.]
