§ Mr. Jack Thompson (Wansbeck)The petition that I ask the House to receive today complements the Bill that my hon. Friend the Member for Barnsley, West and Penistone (Mr. McKay) presented on Tuesday. It asks the House to consider a change in the concessionary arrangements for television licences for the elderly and housebound. It is in the names of Mr. John MacCormack and Mrs. Eunice MacCormack.
It gives me the greatest pleasure to present the petition, and I fully endorse the proposition.
