Resolved, That, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the practice of the House relating to matters which may be included in Finance Bills, any Finance Bill of the present Session may contain provision taking effect in a future year with respect to—

  1. (a) the treatment for the purposes of value added tax of fuel which is or is to be provided or appropriated by a taxable person for private use in a motor vehicle;
  2. (b) relief from investment in corporate trades; and
  3. (c) relief in respect of payments to charities.

Bill ordered to be brought in upon the foregoing resolutions by the Chairman of Ways and Means, Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Secretary Walker, Mr. Secretary Fowler, Mr. Secretary Ridley, Mr. Secretary Baker, Mr. Kenneth Clarke, Mr. John MacGregor, Mr. Secretary Channon Mr. John Moore, Mr. Ian Stewart and Mr. Peter Brooke.
