Sir John Stradling Thomas, supported by Mr. Robin Corbett, Mr. John Come, Lord James Douglas-Hamilton, Mr. Marcus Fox, Dr. Mark Hughes, Sir Anthony Kershaw, Sir Peter Mills, Mr. Donald Stewart and Mr. Tom Torney, presented a Bill to empower the Forestry Commissionners to require the restocking of land with trees after unauthorised felling; and to increase the maximum number of members of regional advisory committees for conservancies designated by those Commissioners: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 18 April and to be printed.
