Amendments made: No. 158, in page 63, line 27, leave out from 'under' to end of line 30 and insert 'any of the provisions mentioned in subsection (1)(a) of section 84 if he—

  1. (a) decides as mentioned in subsection (2)(a) or (2A) (a)(i) or (b)(i) of that section; and
  2. (b) gives such a notice as is mentioned in subsection (2) (b) or (2A)(a)(ii) or (b)(ii) of that section;
but a reference shall not be withdrawn by virtue of such a decision and notice as are mentioned in paragraph (b) of subsection (2A) unless the decision is made and the notice is given before the prohibition, requirement or variation has taken effect.'
