Lords amendment: No. 42, in page 10, line 2, leave out
by virtue only of subsection (2) above
before proceedings have been instituted
Mr. Deputy Speaker
With this it will be convenient to take Lords amendments Nos. 48, 61, 62, 64, 73 and 179.
§ Mr. Mellor
The amendments allow the prosecution as well as the holder of the property to seek a variation in a restraint or charging order. We think that this additional flexibility will be welcome to the House.
§ Question put and agreed to.
