HC Deb 14 January 1986 vol 89 cc1025-6
Mr. Speaker

The question is the money resolution—

Mr. Walter Harrison (Wakefield)

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. I shouted, "No" when you put the Question on the business of the House. I did so several times, and I had 20 hon. Members to support me. I wished to vote against the business of the House motion.

Mr. Speaker

Order. I have put that question and I have collected the voices, but I shall put again the question on the money resolution.

Question put, and agreed to.

Ordered, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Financial Services Bill, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred under that Act by the Secretary of State, the Chief Registrar of Friendly Societies and the Registrar of Friendly Societies for Northern Ireland.
