Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Administration of Justice Bill [Lords], it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any sums required by the Lord Chancellor—
    1. (i). for making grants to the Council for Licensed Conveyancers established by the Act, or
    2. (ii). for making payments by way of reimbursement of additional costs incurred by parties to proceedings in consequence of the incapacity or death of any judge or other person presiding or assisting at the proceedings;
  2. (b) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable under the Legal Aid Act 1974 out of money so provided.—[Mr. Garel-Jones]
