725 This is a technical amendment widening the definition of pension in subsection (5). Subsection (2) provides for the transfer to the appropriate residuary body of certain continuing pension liabilities of the GLC and the MCCs. The definition of pension in subsection (5) does not include compensation and allowances paid in cases of death, injury or disease resulting from employment. The amendment ensures that these continuing liabilities would be included in the transfer of pension liabilities to the residuary bodies.
