Have you received any request from the Foreign Office to make a statement on the deplorable incident relating to the Syrian diplomat Mr. Rajab? This is a matter of the gravest importance, about which there are full reports on the radio and in newspapers to the effect that the diplomat is to be expelled by Friday if the matter is not resolved satisfactorily. I put it to you, Mr. Speaker, that hon. Members should not be the last people to know.
